Our Story

Indie Prov Boston is a woman-led community focused learning ground for long form improv and all things indie comedy

Indie Prov Boston is a proudly minority-owned organization that actively champions and supports instructors from a wide range of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints, especially in an industry that has traditionally been male-dominated. It was inspired by a small group of improvisers who love long form improv and who celebrate opportunities to be expansive and inclusive both on and off stage.

Our philosophy centers around breaking the mold—nurturing, developing, and empowering the artist within… everybody!
